Trey Caperton grew up in the sunny deserts of Albuquerque, New Mexico, under a wide open sky, where they were raised on a vibrant medley of Linkin Park, Metallica, Don Williams, Willie Nelson, and Elvis Presley. This whirlwind of diverse melodies sparked their love for the arts and led to a heartfelt journey, transitioning from a professional athlete to singing their heart out on local black box stages.

During their time at Carnegie Mellon University, Trey further discovered their artistic spirit, performing roles ranging from Desdemona in “Othello” to quirky Leaf Coneybear in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” to an isolated soldier in the darkly comic “Adult Things.” Trey also had the opportunity to shoot their first Co-Star in our first year tofether on CBS's FBI (S6. Ep.3)!

Their love for physical theatre and embodied training led them to study at the Accademia Dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy, and arthaus.berlin in Berlin, Germany. Grounded by a heart-led approach, they continue to embrace each new experience as an opportunity for growth and discovery, both in their craft and in their personal journey.

Trey is excited to move to NYC after graduating from CMU with a BFA in Musical Theatre, ready to embark on the next chapter of their artistic career.
